The HEAL Project (Higher Education for All: Learning Environments built on Trauma-Informed Teaching and Communication) is an Erasmus+ initiative aimed at transforming higher education (HED) through trauma-informed teaching and communication (TTC).
By fostering inclusivity and enhancing support services, the project equips educators with the skills to address the diverse needs of students, particularly those who have experienced trauma.
Through a structured program that includes a gap assessment, online training modules, and an innovative HEALingU app, HEAL promotes a more supportive and effective learning environment.
The project contributes to improved academic performance, mental well-being, and the overall student experience in higher education. By engaging in a strong international consortium, HEAL strengthens the capacity of higher education institutions to integrate trauma-informed approaches, ensuring long-term impact and sustainability.
